Five star service on Danish domestic flight

Normally you take the train when travelling within the borders of Denmark, as it's such a small country, but if you are in a hurry, you might as well go up in the air and travel by plane. This summer a new airline called Alsie Express started flying between Sønderborg in the southern part of Denmark and the capital Copenhagen. And what a great airline. Not only the service on board the ATR 72-500 airplanes, but also on ground at Sønderborg Airport is absolutely brilliant. It's almost as good as flying business class, but for much less money. A oneway journey starts at only 500 dkr (approx. €67). Please read my full five star review here (only in Danish).

Alsie Express' new ATR 72-500 at Copenhagen Airport.

With a seat pitch of 42,5" it's almost as flying on business class.

On ground at the small, but very efficient Sønderborg Airport.
