When you walk into the lobby at The Chatwal Hotel in New York, it's almost like entering a time machine that transports you back to the swinging 1920's and the glamorous 1930's with its's stunning art deco-design. But the hotel is actually not that old, it has just been brilliantly designed by french designer Thierry Despont - the man behind the upcoming revamp of The Ritz in Paris.
